Project Overview
Joanne and Stephen are undertaking an extension to their house in Hertfordshire which will include a ground floor conservatory and a loft conversion. They already use electric under floor heating in the kitchen and family bathroom and gas central heating throughout the house. MORE>

The Solution
After researching the market Joanne and Stephen discovered the Orion 700 System from NOBO Heating which combined with the stylish Series 8 heaters will provide full control flexibility for heating the loft rooms. They have chosen the executive chrome towel rail to heat the bathroom and warm the towels for guests when required. The Orion 700 will control the towel rail and heating as well as the existing under floor heating which will mean that one system will operate much of the heating in their home providing a sophisticated and easy to use system.

Using the override function on the Orion 700 will allow the guest rooms to be heated as required and quickly in the event of a last minute guest arriving.

Stephen is also planning to use the Orion 700 combined with complimentary RS700 receivers to operate existing garden lights and RCE 700 plug-in adapters to switch table lights on and off throughout the house when unoccupied for security purposes.

‘The Orion 700 is perfect for us; we can control the new heating in the loft as well as the bathroom towel rail and our existing under floor heating using the TR36 thermostat. It will even control garden lighting and table lamps for security; I can’t wait to set it up!’
